CALLING ALL VIDEO ARTISTS!
We are excited to officially announce an open call for video art to be included in the first ever Gowanus Art Fair (GAF) on January 14, 2012! Organized by Collective BK and held at The Gowanus Ballroom, GAF will be a multimedia showcase for artists of all mediums, with visual art and video works curated by May Yeung and Lowbrow Co-Director Gwynn Friendly. We are looking for works under 10 minutes in length that do not rely on sound.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
-Submissions DUE by 11pm January 7th.
-There is no theme, the point is to showcase your absolute BEST work.
-Work must be under 10 minutes in length and not dependent on sound.
-Email info@lowbrowsociety.org with links (youtube/vimeo etc) to no more than 5 pieces that you would like to include.
-If you have a really great idea, but need time to finish the piece you’d like to include, send with your example links a written proposal for the finished piece.
-Please include either an artitsts CV or a brief statement about yourself and your work.
We can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
